Well, since I talk too much to start with, and since I was in on the original storytelling the night all this occurred, I'm just going to take a brief moment here to wrap up. First of all, thank you to all the ladies for writing up things from their individual perspectives. It was great reading this and reliving the evening yet again. I must say, it could not have turned out better had we spent hours planning it. Everything just seemed to fall into place. I am thankful that Hope had the foresight and class to rent a room in the very hotel where Diana was attending her conference, and for inviting us all up. Brilliant, Hope! <g> Kate, I'm glad your mom was able to spent some time with us - she was verra entertaining! Too bad she didn't stick around longer! And Mandy, so sorry you had to leave early. Next year for sure!!!!!!! Thanks to ALL the ladies who were there. You're all the greatest and we all had a great time. Thanks to Elva, Diana's friend who picks her up from the airport every year, for dropping in with her. And thanks, of course, to the lovely Diana, who is always charming, witty and holds us captive whenever she speaks or writes. Thanks for taking time out of an unbelievably (I'm sure) busy schedule to meet up with a bunch of hosers - but a special bunch who love what you do! And, last but not least, thanks to all the Ladies of Lallybroch who keep this place a going concern. Here's to more "gatherings" of the Clan MacHoser. :-) |
